The Lane Community Health Council (LCHC) collaborates closely with physicians, hospitals, other healthcare providers and local community organizations to improve the health and well-being of residents in Lane County.

The LCHC governs our local Coordinated Care Organization (CCO), PacificSource Community Solutions, in agreement with the Oregon Health Authority (OHA), serving Medicaid members enrolled in the CCO on the Oregon Health Plan (OHP). The LCHC works to guide the design, development and implementation of strategic initiatives in support of the CCO, in service to the mission of better health, better care and better value for our members in Lane County.

Membership

Members of the Board of Directors of the Lane Community Health Council include local community leaders across the spectrum of the Medicaid healthcare system as well as influential voices in education, community advocacy and social determinants of health and equity. The Council has dedicated seats for consumers who directly represent Lane County at large. Broad duties of the Health Council include, but are not limited to: oversight of the global CCO budget, community stakeholder outreach and oversight of the Community Advisory Council (CAC), and facilitation across various workgroups and committees in support of improving the health of our region.

Meetings

Lane Community Health Council Board meetings take place from 7:00am–9:00am on the second Tuesday of every month.
